All rules in 21 NCAC 17 were posted for review by this agency and the Office of Administrative Hearings from October 23, 2025, through December 28, 2025, as a part of the statutorily defined periodic rules review process. No public comments were received. A copy of the final report can be found here.

Request for Early Review: The comment period for 21 NCAC 17 closed on December 28, 2025. No public comments were received. The NCBDN was initially scheduled for review in September 2026, however, the NCBDN is requesting early RRC review of their classification report. The request was made for review at the RRC’s meeting on March 26, 2026. If you object to the rescheduling of RRC review of this classification report, you have the right to contact RRC and object.
