Important Notes

• Legal Questions for renewal have CHANGED. Please read the instructions carefully and report only information that is new since your last application with us.
• If you have forgotten the login credentials you set up, please allow yourself time to retrieve them using the “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” processes found on the Gateway login page. Check your Junk folders for reset codes, if needed.
• All materials, such as new ID cards, receipts, certificates, and verification letters are printable from the account you set up through the NCBDN Gateway.
• We do not accept paper renewal applications. You may still choose to pay the $95 renewal fees by check or money order by selecting the “Pay by Check” tab at checkout. However, your renewal application will NOT be processed until the check or money order is physically received and verified by our office.
• If you will no longer be practicing dietetics and/or nutrition in North Carolina, you must still log in and request a change of status in your Gateway account. To learn more about inactivating or relinquishing a license, click here.
